The following seems to work best for the moment to get a good overview of my time, it uses a bit the style from outlook but I like it more this way: EssentialPIMplanner. I have synchronised it with my mozilla thunderbird but dunno if this is usefull. It seems good to have another ‘reminder’ for all the tasks I listed. So everytime I open my emailclient I see them as well. I used the following add on for thunderbird (you also need a recent version of thunderbird): lightning agenda add on.
