I updated my own weekly time sheet. So I thought ‘why not sharing this with the rest of the world’. So it’s available for download in the Box at the right if you scroll down. The small squares next to the hours are meant to be used for colouring. For example I make the little square red when planning study time, and green when having a break. I try to always put some green after some blocks of red. Sleeping time I usually make green as well cause I use it to define my ‘personal time’ not only breaks. There are some other colors as well I use like at the moment orange for waking up time and before going to bed time. Yellow I use for eating time. So I get immediately an idea of what I am busy with in a day. Let me know if you find this useful!

more sheduling stuff

The following seems to work best for the moment to get a good overview of my time, it uses a bit the style from outlook but I like it more this way: EssentialPIMplanner. I have synchronised it with my mozilla thunderbird but dunno if this is usefull. It seems good to have another ‘reminder’ for all the tasks I listed. So everytime I open my emailclient I see them as well. I used the following add on for thunderbird (you also need a recent version of thunderbird): lightning agenda add on.

On the organisational level

I have always been busy working with shedules, agenda and planning but since I know that I have difficulties with my attention I am extremely motivated to try out everything I can find. Maybe this can be of help for others as well so I will mention here some resources I find helpfull and/or which I think are interesting.
For the moment I am trying to figure out an online planner named Skoach. Skoach is management software running online in a browser window. It allows you to plan your days and weeks. It has a time map where you can make categories for all sorts of stuff to do, reminders, follow up time while busy with a task, and so on. Check it out! Further I very much like the blog of David Seah. He writes about design, development, inspiration, and self-empowerment. David has created a lot of free tools for planning and goal acquiring. Everything is to print out on paper this time. I am still not sure which tools work the best for me but I am certain that using some of his designs will help me manage my time better and see if I am working towards the goals I want to achieve. But still a little difficult
Next to this I am now replacing my paper sticky notes by the electronical sticky notes which you can place on your desktop. Handy to save some paper and at least my wall is not full with little yellow papers anymore
Easy to find on the internet. Another thing you can use if you leave your computer mostly always on is wake up news or speed up alarm (I use the last one for the moment to wake me up in the morning cause the other one you can only use as a trial, and it’s finished for me).
